I absolutely loved the charming and rustic decoration of this hotel. The colonial-style wooden fittings and the tan-colored walls gave it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The general areas were beautifully maintained, especially the courtyard with the palm trees. It was a pleasure to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As a senior person, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff were very helpful and assisted me with my luggage, making sure I felt comfortable during my stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have more comfortable seating areas in the hotel. Sometimes, after a long day of exploring the historic city of Agüimes, it would have been nice to have a cozy spot to sit and rest before heading to my room.

The room was very pleasant.
You should be given the instruction that there is a backdoor to be used at night.

It's situation in a pretty, historic town. The house itself was also quite pretty and built around a lovely courtyard. Could be a really nice experience of real Canaria.
The customer service was poor. The manager made us feel more of a necessary nuisance than a welcome guest. Our room not quite finished when we arrived. That's OK - mistakes happen but when I returned to reception to inform her (and I realise I should speak better Spanish) she declared in an off-hand way she didn't understand and swept upstairs with me meekly following her. She did say then that she didn't realise it wasn't finished & sent the maid in to apologise! All we wanted was a good natured welcome and a smile or too! This sort of culture permeated the whole place. At the restaurant waitress told in no uncertain terms that they closed at 10pm when we had just finished our meal. B/fast was a mediocre - no staff.

The rooms at Hotel Rural Casa De Los Camellos were fantastic! The living area with a sofa bed was perfect for our little ones to relax after a long day of exploring. The double rooms with twin beds were spacious and comfortable. It was the perfect place for our family to recuperate and feel at home.
Personally, I found the hairdryer provided in the room a bit outdated. But hey, that's just my opinion.

we chose the hotel for its location near the airport (for the last night). But we had the bad luck of having a village fiesta nearby and couldnot sleep till 5 in the morning. The village itself is very small, you see everything in a couple of hours. The hotel was nice and clean, but not very well organised, if you need the receptionist or a waiter: or you wait till you drop, or you find the restaurant kitchen and ask the cook.

Beautiful old world hotel in a beautiful old town. Staff had little english but made effort to help out Definately will return
Directions need revising Very difficult to find as there are no signs in old town and eventually having passed by it, we got directions from 100 yards away. If staying here download a map. Bells complained of in one report do not really bother you. No English language TV.

Nice design with well-kept gardens inside. Helpful English-speaking staff. Good breakfast choices. Located in an old center with pretty colored houses and near a valley of natural interest with cave restaurants. Spacious second-floor room with courtyard view and seating area. Museum-like experience. Traditional town with warm welcome, free coffees while waiting, clean, well-appointed rooms, friendly staff.

it was very traditional and quirky little place,we would have liked to stay longer.unfortunately we were too late for dinner as we had trouble finding the hotel and it was Christmas Eve and most places were closed.
the bed was a little too hard for us but everything else was fine.

A charming hotel with a unique history and beautiful architecture. The converted Camel stable is a gem in the heart of Aguimes. Although our room was small, it had a cozy feel to it. Despite some noise from nearby children, we enjoyed a peaceful stay. The breakfast was comprehensive and nicely presented. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a cultural experience.

Excellent location in an old building in the centre of town
No facilities in the room for making a cup of tea which would have been most useful as we were staying in a nearby building. Unable to eat in the restaurant as our booking had been overlooked.
